You might already be familiar with Cap’s, the name has been around for a long time (since 1932), but the times have changed and so have we. Let me introduce myself - I'm the Bike Guy, Gordon Hobbis, and the owner of CAP'S SAPPERTON, the original Cap’s.  Cap is my Dad and I’ve been working in the family business for as long as I can remember. I’ve done this for so long that I decided to buy the Sapperton store for myself. The same life long commitment to helping people enjoy cycling in a store that reflects what I love about cycling.
Our store is a combination of how we love to ride. I’m a family man so I want to look after the kids and parents. Marie is dedicated to going car less and loves to help people change their lives. Folding bikes is Marie’s passion and there is no one in Canada that knows more about folding bikes than Marie. Angela brings her smile to work every day and is great at making sure you get the stuff for your bike that will help you enjoy the ride. She used to work in the fast food industry and is used to asking “if you would like fries with that.” Seth is hardcore, old school bike racer. It seems everyone knows Seth and Seth knows everyone. Our resident roadie, bike fitter and overall great great guy is Norm. He’ll help you through the maze of brands and components that make up bike catalogs. There are lots of other great staff on board that all ride and share an enthusiasm for cycling that you only get once you have drunk the Kool-Aid.
Our store motto is “Get Back Into Cycling” and that is what we put our energy into every single day. Has it been a while since you were a rider? Do you want to know what is different in bikes today?
